Deputy mayor: No rise in Prague public transport prices

The Prague authorities do not plan to raise the price of individual public transport tickets or long-term travel passes, the deputy mayor in charge of transport, Zdeněk Hřib, told the Czech News Agency.

Mr. Hřib said more attention would be devoted to supporting electronic ticketing, adding that amendments may be introduced to make purchasing e-tickets price advantageous.

Individual tickets for Prague’s public transport system have not increased in price since 2021. Annual travel passes cost CZK 3,650.
