Journalist Procházková gets French Legion of Honour

The Czech journalist and humanitarian worker Petra Procházková has received France’s Legion of Honour. She was presented with the country’s highest order of merit from the French Ambassador to Prague, Alexis Dutertre, on Wednesday evening.

It was given for Ms. Procházková’s contribution to conflict reporting, human rights campaigning, humanitarian work and literary achievements.

Receiving the honour, the journalist thanked the people who had shared their stories with her.
