Help needed in looking after unaccompanied Ukrainian minors
Around 30,000 Ukrainian children who fled the war in their homeland arrived in Czechia without their parents, accompanied by friends or extended family, according to the government's Human Rights Commissioner, Klára Šimáčková Laurenčíková. Some 200 Ukrainian minors aged between 15 and 17 arrived unaccompanied by an adult. They are housed in asylum centres and supervised and helped by Czech social workers in the given localities. The Centre for Foreigners of the South Moravian Region is currently looking for employees who would assist them in the process. A good knowledge of Ukrainian and Czech is required.
