Adamczyková crowned snowboard cross world champion for second time

Eva Adamczyková has become world champion in snowboard cross for the second time. A year and a quarter after breaking both ankles, the athlete – previously known by her maiden name Samková – dominated the sport’s world championships in Bakuriani, Georgia.

The Czech won all four of her competitions, including Wednesday’s final, to repeat her initial victory in 2019.
