Around 30,000 unaccompanied Ukrainian refugee minors in Czechia
In Czechia there are around 30,000 Ukrainian children who are refugees who arrived into the country by themselves and are unaccompanied by adults, the Government Commissioner for Human Rights Klára Šimáčková Laurenčíková told the Czech News Agency. Some of these children are thus living in children’s homes.
Mrs Šimáčková Laurenčíková, who is also the country’s national coordinator for the adaptation and integration of refugees, said that that this group is especially vulnerable and needs special attention.
