Toyota partially resuming production after month-long shutdown
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Czech Republic based in Kolín partially resumed production on Monday after a month-long shutdown due to a shortage of components from China, a spokesman for the plant told the ctk news agency. Even with new deliveries production will remain limited to three days a week. The carmaker was short of components for both Aygo and Yaris models produced in Kolín. The company employs around 3,600 people and produces around 1,000 cars a day in normal operation.
