Fruhvirtová and Plíšková advance to fourth round at Australian Open

Czech teenager Linda Fruhvirtová advanced to the fourth round of the Australian Open on Saturday after defeating her compatriot Markéta Vondroušová 7-5 2-6 6-3.The 17-year-old, who is the youngest woman remaining in the draw, will next face Croatian Donna Vekic.

Karolína Plíšková overcame Varvara Gracheva of Russia 6-4, 6-2 and will next meet Zhang Shuai for a place in the quarterfinals.
