Voter cards for presidential elections issued

Municipalities in Czechia began issuing voter cards on Thursday to those who want to vote outside their home constituency in January's presidential elections. The card entitles you to vote in any of the roughly 15,000 polling stations in the Czech Republic and abroad. Czechs living abroad will also be able to get a card from the Czech embassy in their country of residence. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 14,370 people have registered for the presidential elections at embassies this year.

Thursday is also the deadline for municipalities to announce the addresses of polling stations where people can vote, although these usually do not change.
