Czechs planning to spend less on Christmas presents this year
Some 57 per cent of Czechs plan to spend less on Christmas presents this year, according to a survey conducted by the STEM/MARK agency. Seven out of ten people said they would cover their Christmas expenditures from their regular monthly salary and select mainly cosmetics and books. Only 16 percent of respondents said they planned to buy electronics as presents, down from 34 percent last year. Forty-three percent of respondents expect to spend up to 5,000 crowns on Christmas presents, while 30 per cent want to buy gifts for up to 10,000 crowns.
