Válek: Isolation for Covid positive may end
The Czech minister of health, Vlastimil Válek, says those who test positive for Covid-19 may not need to enter isolation in future. Mr. Válek made the comment in Brno, where he was speaking at a doctors’ congress.
He told journalists that it was not a political question but a matter for experts from the National Institute for Pandemic Management. As soon as they recommend such a change, the coronavirus will be removed from a list of diseases requiring isolation, he said.
Mr. Válek said he could imagine the move being made in the first half of next year.
