Škoda increased global sales by 29 percent in October
Czech car-maker Škoda increased its global sales by 29 percent year-on-year in October to 60,800 vehicles, the parent company Volkswagen announced on Friday. The Czech manufacturer posted one of the best results of the entire group, which is the largest carmaker in Europe.
Between January and October of this year, Škoda's sales amounted to 605,400 vehicles, down by 19.1 percent on the previous year. The results were still affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Volkswagen delivered 388,600 passenger cars to customers in October, a year-on-year increase of 7.7 percent. However, year-on-year, its sales are down by 10 per cent.
