Lipavský: EU must actively counter Russian propaganda in Africa

The European Union has to be more active and unified in its approach to countering Russian propaganda in Africa, Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský said at Monday's two-day meeting of special representatives for the Sahel region, which is taking place in Prague for the first time within the framework of the Czech Presidency of the EU Council. According to the Czech foreign minister, Russia is trying to damage the image of the EU in Africa. He also stated that the Sahel region is important for European security and international security in general.
