Minister: Gas consumption fell by nearly 28 percent in October
Gas consumption in Czechia fell by 27.8 percent when compared with the average rate over the past three years, Industry and Trade Minister Jozef Síkela stated on Wednesday. Meanwhile, gas reserves in storage facilities rose by nearly 300 million cubic metres, according to the minister.
"October shows us how individual energy saving help all of society", Mr Síkela said, adding that low gas consumption in October was also helped by the month being unusually warm.
