Babiš corruption trial to resume in December

The trial of former Czech prime minister Andrej Babiš on corruption charges will resume in the week starting December 19, the Prague Municipal Court said on Tuesday.

The head of the judges panel hearing the case has also ordered three days for the trial in January.

ANO leader Babiš is accused of fraudulently acquiring around CZK 50 million in EU subsidies for a conference centre near Prague. He denies the charge and says his trial is politically motivated.
