Psychiatrist Jan Cimický facing multiple rape charges

Criminal investigators have proposed filing charges of rape and extortion against psychiatrist Jan Cimický. They say the well-known psychiatrist committed these crimes against 28 female patients between 1980 and 2016. The proposal has been sent to the District State Prosecutor's Office for Prague 8, police said on Twitter. Several of Cimický’s former patients, including singer and actress Jana Fabianová, testified against him this year. The singer was the first to speak out after Prague Castle announced that it intended to present Cimický with an award for his life-long work.
