Renáta Kellnerová tops Forbes Czech rich list

Renáta Kellnerová, widow of the late billionaire Petr Kellner, who died in a plane crash in the US last year, is the wealthiest Czech, according to an annual rich list published by Forbes on Wednesday. The market value of her assets is estimated at CZK 382.9 billion.

Second on the list is Karel Komárek, owner of the KKCG financial group, whose property is estimated at CZK 190.2 billion. Real estate mogul Radovan Vítek placed third with assets estimated at CZK 144 billion.

Former Prime Minister and ANO Party leader Andrej Babiš came fifth with a fortune of CZK 107.8 billion.

There are seven newcomers among the country’s 100 richest Czechs, with their overall wealth amounting to over CZK 2.1 trillion.
