Iga Świątek among star lineup at this year’s Angel Open in Ostrava

Womens’ tennis world number 1 Iga Świątek as well as numbers 3 and 4 Paula Badosa and Anett Kontaveit will all be competing alongside Czech stars Karolína Plíšková, Petra Kvitová and Barbora Krejčíková at this year’s Angel Open in Ostrava. The hard court WTA 500 tournament is set to kick-off on Monday, with the final being played on Sunday, October 9.

Games will be played in the Ostravar Arena and the nearby athletic hall.  Anett Kontaveit will be defending her title, which comes with a winner’s prize of EUR 750,000.
