Russian players can take part in upcoming NHL games in Prague
Russian hockey players from the San Jose and Nashville teams can take part in the upcoming NHL games in Prague, Tomáš Pojar, an advisor to Prime Minister Petr Fiala on foreign relations, told Seznam Zprávy on Thursday.
The teams, which are due to play at Prague’s O2 Arena on October 7 - 8, each have at least one Russian player.
According to Mr. Pojar, the players have been granted Schengen visas and also have long-term US work visas and present no threat to Czechia’s national security.
