Russians demonstrate against Putin on Wenceslas Square

An estimated 300 mostly Russian nationals gathered on Prague's Wenceslas Square on Wednesday evening to demonstrate against the partial mobilization declared by President Vladimir Putin for the war in Ukraine. The demonstrators carried blue and white flags used by the Russian opposition, distanced themselves from the Putin regime and expressed solidarity with anti-government protesters in Russia. Several hundred peace demonstrators who opposed the mobilization were arrested across Russia on Wednesday.
