Fiala: partial mobilisation is further proof that Russia is aggressor

The partial mobilisation announced on Wednesday morning by Russian President Vladimir Putin is an attempt to further escalate the war in Ukraine and is further proof that Russia is the only aggressor in the conflict, Prime Minister Petr Fiala said in a statement to the Czech News Agency.

Mr. Putin made the announcement of partial mobilisation in a televised speech broadcast at 9am Moscow time. Some 300,000 members of the military reserve forces will be called up and the mobilisation should begin immediately, according to news site Novinky.cz.
