Prague Zoo to get new female gorilla
Female gorilla “Duni” is set to become a new addition to Prague Zoo. The daughter of Prague Zoo’s famous “Moji” previously lived in Spain’s Cabárceno Natural Park. She was loaded onto a Czech Army aircraft taking her to her new home on Friday. According to Cabárceno Natural Park’s staff, Duni looks very similar to her mother, but is a slightly larger animal, a trait that she most likely got after her father. It is hoped that Duni will give birth to her own offspring in Prague.
Last week, Prague Zoo welcomed male gorilla “Kisumu”, who is also expected to ensure the continuation of the city zoo’s gorilla population.
