Covid cases on rise for ninth day in row
Some 3,027 new cases of covid-19 were registered in Czechia on Tuesday, crossing the 3,000-in-one-day mark for the second day in a row. Monday was the first time since the beginning of August that more than 3,000 new cases were registered in one day. The daily number of new cases in a week-on-week comparison has been increasing since Monday last week.
There were almost 800 patients in hospitals with the virus on Tuesday, an increase of 14 in a week-on-week comparison. The number of patients in critical condition remains around 30.
