Court to hand out tickets for Stork’s Nest trial

The Prague Municipal Court will be issuing tickets to those interested among the public who want to see the main part of the Stork’s Nest trial, in which the former prime minister, Andrej Babiš, stands as one of the defendants, the Czech News Agency reported on Wednesday.

Court spokesman Adam Wenig said that the capacity of the room is 80 places, but that the court’s balcony, which can seat a further 36 people, could be opened up as well if interest is high. The tickets will be issued on every eleventh day of the trial.

The first part of the trial is set to begin on Monday, the Czech News Agency reports.
