Four Czechs arrested in Albania now released

The authorities in Albania have released four Czechs who were arrested on Sunday while taking photographs by an arms factory in the town of Polican. The news was reported by the website Albanian Daily News, which said the matter would be investigated further.

The four, two men and two women, told the police they were regular tourists and had done nothing wrong.

Their detention came a day after the arrests of two Russians and a Ukrainian for trying to enter a different arms factory. They are now facing spying charges.
