Czechia to continue aid to Ukraine, says PM
Czechia plans to continue supplying military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, the country’s prime minister, Petr Fiala, said on Sunday after a ceremony marking the 54th anniversary of the Soviet-led invasion of Czechoslovakia.
Mr. Fiala told reporters that Czechia wished to help repair damage to schools, hospitals and other facilities caused by Russia’s war on Ukraine, adding that the country would coordinate such support within its ongoing six-month presidency of the EU.
The Czech leader said Prague was also discussing post-war aid with Ukraine.
