Covid summer wave continues to slow

The current wave of the covid-19 epidemic is continuing to drop off. There were 2,407 new cases of Covid-19 registered in Czechia on Friday, a fall of 386 from the same day last week. Currently, 1,109 people are in hospital with the disease, of which 30 are in a serious condition. Both of these numbers are down from the previous day. Infection numbers in Czechia began rising at the start of June and continued to do so until last week.
