Austrian rescuers search for missing Czech tourist
Austrian rescuers are searching for a 65-year-old Czech tourist, who went missing a few days ago near the village of Bad Hofgastein near Salzburg, the APA news agency reported on Friday.
Rescuers are planning to explore a large area, including the riverbeds of Salzach and Gastainer Ache rivers, as well as Gasteiner Klamm gorge and the waterfall near the village of Lend.
The police were alerted by the operator of the guesthouse where the Czech tourist was spending his holiday after he failed to return to his accommodation. His cell phone was last tracked in the Gastein valley on Saturday, July 30.
