Poll: ANO would win parliamentary elections with 29 percent of vote

The opposition ANO party would win elections to the lower house of parliament with 29 percent voter support, suggests a freshly released poll by the Median agency.

According to the survey, the ruling Civic Democrats would come second with 16.1 percent, followed by Freedom and Direct Democracy with the backing of 12.5 percent of voters.

The Pirate Party, TOP 09 and Civic Democrats would also make it to the lower house, if parliamentary elections were held in July.

By contrast, the Mayors and Independents and Christian Democrats would not reach the five-percent threshold needed to win seats in the Chamber of Deputies, suggests the poll.
