Javelin thrower Jakub Vadlejch takes bronze at World Championship

Czech javelin thrower Jakub Vadlejch won the bronze medal at the World Championship in Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday. The 31-year-old athlete, who won silver in Tokyo, threw 88,09 meters in the third series of throws.

Grenada's Anderson Peters retained his world javelin title with a throw of 90.54 meters, beating Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, who took the silver.
