Social Affairs Ministry wants more financial support for disabled people

The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs wants disabled people to get more financial support from the state. Social Affairs Minister Marian Jurečka said that in view of the soaring inflation and rising energy costs, he would push for the mobility allowance and other forms of support to be increased within an upcoming package of measures being debated by the cabinet. The aim of the upcoming package is to provide targeted support to disadvantaged citizens and the minister stressed that disabled people are one of the groups most vulnerable to price rises.
