New elite police unit established to fight terrorism and cybercrime

A new elite police unit has been created to fight terrorism and cybercrime. The unit, officially established on Friday is expected to be fully operational by early 2023. It should employ about 150 elite detectives and officers and will be based in Prague's Zbraslav district. According to Deputy Police President Tomáš Kubík, the new unit should ensure better protection against terrorism and cybercrime.
