Bavaria to increase daily capacity of TAL pipeline that supplies Czechia with oil
Bavaria has agreed to increase the daily capacity of the Transalpine Pipeline (TAL), through which Czechia receives oil from the Italian port of Trieste, by 17 percent from Friday, Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced on Thursday after a meeting with his Bavarian counterpart Markus Söder.
Mr Fiala said he considers the decision as extremely important for Czech energy security, allowing the country to wane itself away from Russian energy dependency.
