Demolition of pig farm at site of Lety concentration camp to start soon
July 22 will see demolition work begin at a former pig farm at Lety in South Bohemia that was the site of a concentration camp for Romanies during World War II. The news was announced on Tuesday by the Museum of Romany Culture, which is planning to build a memorial to the Holocaust of Romanies and Sinti in the Czech Lands.
The Czech state purchased the pig farm in 2018 following years of discussion on the subject.
