Two Czechs now confirmed dead in Italian Alps ice avalanche

The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday that Sunday’s ice avalanche in the Italian Alps resulted in the death of two Czech men. Five individuals are still missing, according to the ministry. The two individuals were touring the mountain region together, the Czech News Agency reports.

Rescue services plan to continue their search for survivors until at least Thursday.
