Czech EU Presidency to focus on energy security, defence and resilience of EU economy

Continued support for Ukraine, energy security, boosting European defence structures and the resilience of the EU economy will be among the main priorities of the upcoming Czech EU Presidency, Minister for European Affairs Mikuláš Bek told the members of Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee on Thursday. The priorities of the six-month Czech presidency will be officially announced next week.

The motto of the presidency, which the Czech Republic will take over from France on July 1, should be "Europe as a task: rethink, rebuild, repower".
