Forbes: most influential Czech woman is EC Vice-President Věra Jourová
EU Commission Vice-President Věra Jourová has topped the list of the most influential women in the Czech Republic, published by the business magazine Forbes. Mrs. Jourová knocked the winner of the last two years, former Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister and current head of the parliamentary group for opposition party ANO, Alena Schillerová, from the top spot. This year Mrs. Schillerová did not even make the top 180.
Lenka Bradáčová, Prague's chief state prosecutor, took second place in this year's ranking, and Renáta Kellnerová, widow of the late billionaire entrepreneur Petr Kellner, finished third.
This is the eleventh time the Czech language edition of Forbes has published its yearly ranking of the most influential women in the Czech Republic, which came out in its June issue on Wednesday.
