Interior minister: large accommodation facilities to be available for Roma refugees from Ukraine within days
Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakušan has promised to resolve the problem with accommodation for Romany Ukrainian refugees by the end of this week. In an interview for Novinky.cz the minister said two large-capacity facilities for would be prepared for them in the South Moravian region and the Vysočina region within days. There are approximately 1,500 Romany Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic and the authorities have had to accommodate some of them in large capacity tents because they refused to be separated. The minister explained that large-scale accommodation capacities have been exhausted and the refugees refused accommodation where they would be broken up and placed in different regions.
