Beskids study finds lynxes and wolves but no sign of bears

A survey of large animals in the Czech Republic’s Beskid Mountains carried out in February of this year found that they are home to lynxes and wolves. However, the presence of bears in the mountain range in the east of the country was not established, organisers said on Wednesday. The study was carried out by volunteers for the 38th time.
