Czech Republic reopens consulate in Ukraine’s Lviv
The Czech Republic has reopened its consulate general in the Western Ukrainian city of Lviv, two months after it was closed down in response to Russia’s invasion of the country. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Twitter that the consulate would initially serve in a limited capacity; it will not issue visas but provide assistance to Czech citizens and monitor the situation.
The Czech Republic’s embassy in the capital Kyiv was reopened in the middle of this month.
