Pandemic: Hospitalisations at their lowest since October

Saturday saw 3,057 people test positive for coronavirus in the Czech Republic, a quarter fewer than on the same day the previous week, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Hospitalisations fell to 1,529 - the lowest that they have been since the end of October last year.

The incidence number is at its lowest since January 6, with an average of 396 infections per 100,000 people. The highest average number of infections is currently in Prague (552). Meanwhile, the Liberec region has the lowest incidence number (273)
