Russian ambassador summoned over provocations against Czech embassy’s staff in Moscow
The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned Russian Ambassador to Prague Alexander Zmejewski on Saturday evening over alleged provocations by the Russian authorities against the Czech embassy’s staff in Moscow.
According to the ministry’s spokeswoman, Lenka Do, the staff at the embassy in Moscow has become the target of harassment by the Russian authorities.
She said the ministry appealed to the Russian side to respect the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. However, she refused to reveal any further details on the matter due to security reasons.
