Fiala: Number of Ukrainian refugees in CR now at 300,000

Prime Minister Petr Fiala says there are now around 300,000 Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic. Mr. Fiala made the comment during a session of the Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday afternoon.

He said that he understood people’s anger at rising prices of energy, fuel and foods, but said the main culprit behind this was Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, who launched a war against Ukraine last month.
