Czech officials denounce Putin’s actions

Czech officials strongly denounced Russia’s aggression in Ukraine at a security conference held at Prague Castle on Thursday. Prime Minister Petr Fiala said President Putin was not just waging a war on Ukraine, but on the whole of Europe, which it had been targeting for years with cyber and disinformation attacks. Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský said that Russia has definitively expelled itself from the family of civilized nations and dealt a severe blow to the international order. President Miloš Zeman, whose address was presented by his foreign affairs advisor Rudolf Jindrák, said Putin had brought the world to the brink of a nuclear war and civilization must now rely on the good sense of the other actors involved in the conflict.
