Fiala: Putin waging economic war against EU and CR

Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala says that Russia’s Vladmir Putin is waging against the European Union and the Czech Republic with a view to undermining their stability and democratic structures and sowing discontent in society.

Speaking after a government meeting on Wednesday, Mr. Fiala also hit out at Czech “populists and extremists” and called for calm, saying panic played into the hands of the aggressor.
