Bill allows Ukrainian refugees to work in CR without permit
Refugees from Ukraine will soon be able to work in the Czech Republic without a labour permit, under a bill approved by the government on Wednesday. The move was announced by the minister of labour, Marian Jurečka. Ukrainians who receive a special visa to be in the country will have the same right to work as foreigners in the Czech Republic with permanent residence.
The relevant legislation, which will apply until the end of March next year, will be approved under a fast track process.
Minister Jurečka also said the state would provide CZK 5,000 to all refugees from Ukraine.
