From Monday respirators only needed on public transport, at social and health facilities

From Monday it will only be required to wear respirators in the Czech Republic on public transport and at health and social care facilities. The government approved the easing of the measure aimed at curbing the spread of Covid-19 at a meeting on Wednesday. The news was announced by the minister of health, Vlastimil Válek, via Twitter.

Mr. Válek said if Covid numbers continued to go down the requirement to wear respirators would be completely abandoned in the course of April.

At present they are mandatory in all indoor public places.
