Czech PM Fiala: Europe in situation previously wholly unimaginable
The Czech prime minister, Petr Fiala, says that Europe now finds itself in a situation that was until recently wholly unimaginable. He said Russia’s unprovoked military invasion of Ukraine could only be described as an act of aggression against a sovereign state and thta it could not go unanswered.
Mr. Fiala said he unequivocally condemned President Putin’s actions and that the Czech Republic would push for tougher sanctions against Moscow as part of a coordinated European Union response.
