Czech biathlete Markéta Davidová misses out on medal in Olympic mass-start race

Czech biathlete Markéta Davidová narrowly missed out on a medal in her final event at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. The 25-year-old Czech finished fourth in the women’s mass-start race on Friday. She was forced to run two penalty laps in the last round after making two errors during the shooting.

It is the best result for Davidová, who was one of the country’s biggest medal hopefuls at the Games. The race was won by Justine Braisaz-Bouchet of France.
