Czech Centre New York pays homage to Miloš Forman

An event at the Czech Centre in New York will pay homage to the late Oscar-winning director Miloš Forman on Thursday, marking the 90th anniversary of the birth of the legendary Czech-American director.

The event will include the screening of Forman’s 1963 debut film Audition, preceded by an introduction by film writer Irena Kovářová, as well as performances by opera singer Kristýna Kůstková and jazz singer Martina Barta.

The event will be attended by Miloš Forman’s wife Martina Formanová, as well as the New-York based Czech illustrator Petr Sís and the Czech-born 1980’s super model Pavlína Pořízková.
