US military convoy to pass through Czechia on Tuesday

A US military convoy, including some 1,500 soldiers and 700 pieces of military equipment, will be passing through the Czech Republic next week, the Czech Defence Ministry has announced.

The convoy will be passing Czech territory on its way from Germany to Slovakia to take part in the annual NATO international training exercise Saber Strike.

The first part of the convoy will enter the Czech Republic at the Rozvadov crossing near Pilsen on Tuesday.  In the second half of March, the troops will follow the same route in the opposite direction.
